Visa Processes

The Visa processes for each country naturally depends on the nationality of a candidate. Outlined below are the processes for UK nationals only. We support and advise all of our candidates throughout the Visa process in respect of their individual nationalities.

Nigerian Process

Once we have informed you that you have been successful in interview we would ask you to send CCL Recruitment International a scanned copy of your passport. We don’t require that candidates have a medical when preparing to work in Nigeria but do ask that you to get a letter from your doctor confirming that you are fit for work. We also require a yellow fever certificate.

Once these documents are received the client and CCL Recruitment International prepare all of the documentation that is required for the Visa and send directly to the Visa issuing agency (we use CIBT).

We will email you the visa application form to complete.  We then ask that you DHL your passport, 2 passport photographs and the completed visa application form to:

The VISA will then be issued shortly after the passport and application forms are received by CIBT.

CCL Recruitment International will pay candidate expenses for DHL documentation to London as well as acquiring a yellow fever certificate and a fit for work letter from their doctor. Please retain your invoices/receipts and send it to us, we will then reimburse you.

Saudi Arabian Process

In Saudi Arabia there are a limited number of Visas. This is because companies are required by the Government to predict their man power needs one year in advance. This can sometimes cause limitations on which candidates the company can bring into the country.

Once a candidate is successful at interview an employment agreement/job offer is emailed to you. We ask that you sign the employee section on the back page twice and also ask a witness to sign it on the witness section. Once you have done this please post back to us. The full contract of employment will be sent to you for signing once received by CCL.

At interview you were asked to bring a number of documents with you.  These documents are for the Saudi background screening process.  This is basically the same as a CRB check in the UK. 

All candidates planning to work in Saudi Arabia are required to undergo a full medical. For this we use Harley Medical Services, 15 Harley Street, London. We will arrange a time and date with you to attend the medical.

When your medical is scheduled you will need to travel down to London to attend. We will pay all of your economy reasonable travel expenses to do so. Please take your passport with you (must have 6 months validity), 4 passport photos, your CV and copies of your qualifications. The reason for this is that we also use Harley Medical Services as our Visa agent.

There are no costs incurred by the candidate for medical or visa, CCL Recruitment International is invoiced directly. Please keep all travel receipts so that we can reimburse you.

Once the medical and visa formalities are completed, we add all your papers to the visa & the contract. All documents are then lodged with the Saudi Embassy; visa is issued normally within 5 days. Your passport will be sent back to you by courier.

Thereafter you give us a date for travel and the name of your local airport, we arrange your flights through the sponsor in Saudi Arabia, inform you of flight arrangements, inform the sponsor of your arrival and they meet you at airport.

Angola Process

This process is similar to Nigerian process with cultural differences. Candidates will be fully advised once at this stage of the recruitment process.

Kuwait Process

This process is very similar to the Saudi Arabian Visa processes. We will of course advise you of the process when we reach this stage.

Iraq Process

This process is very similar to the Saudi Arabian Visa processes. We will of course advise you of the process when we reach this stage.
