English Teacher - Haka
Location: Saudi Arabia
Requirements: BA or MA with a recognised ELT Speciality TEFL/TESOL/CELTA etc. 4 years full time experience minimum teaching at secondary school level. Basic computer literacy is desirable
Details: Offered on a 12 month renewable contract, the contract is single status but if you wish to take your family with you Haka will support you in getting a visa for them but you will have to cover their living costs. Working week is Saturday to Thursday working 40 hours per week. You will be teaching adults 18 years old + on a set curriculum.
There are 3 leave periods of 2 weeks per year. You will also benefit from the religious holidays throughout the year. Location is not known until the interview. The reason being that Saudi Oil Company are a huge organisation, at interview the delegates will make the decision of where to place you based on your specific skills i.e. where you are most needed.
Remuneration: The remuneration package includes a base salary paid to you monthly (in USD). You will also receive 60%-65% of your base salary figure as an allowance for your food, accommodation and transport. The salary is also tax free.
In Saudi Arabia salary is based on the individual candidate’s experience and qualifications, therefore salary is set at interview, I cannot give you a solid indication of salary but it is tax free and is not a disappointment. There are 3 leave periods per year, this is paid leave and your return flights home are paid for you.

We are seeking faculty members for its Interior Design department for the academic year 2011/2012 starting in September 2011.
The following ranks are needed:
· Assistant Professor
· Associate Professor
· Professor
Location: Saudi Arabia
Requirements: Applicants with PhD degrees in interior Design, Architecture and related disciplines are encouraged to apply for these positions. A minimum of 1 year teaching experience is required for those applying for the lecturer position.
Contract: Contract duration is one year subject to renewal. Family status Contract.
Salary: The basic monthly salary is based on the academic rank and depends on qualifications and teaching experience. 15% inflation allowance and transportation allowance will also be added to the basic monthly salary. In addition to the above successful applicants receive:
· 60 days annual paid vacation with a maximum of 4 air tickets for self and family members
· Housing or annual housing allowance of 25,000 SR.
· Furniture allowance of 12,500 SR (Given once only)
· Free medical care for self and dependent family in the University Teaching Hospital
· End of service reward ( half last basic salary on completion of at least 2 but less than 5 years service and one last basic salary on completion of 5 and above years uninterrupted service.
It is worth pointing out that there is no income tax in Saudi Arabia and that the cost of living is lower than in the US or Europe.
