Inspector Engineer - HAKA
Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Inspector Engineer to work with the Inspection & Corrosion Division. The primary function of this role is to carry out plant equipment and welding inspection activities at different areas such as Abu Ali, Ras Tanura, Safaniya in Saudi Arabia. Onshore and offshore producing facilities to conduct all relevant inspection activities and jobs.
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold an Engineering degree from a recognized and approved program with three years of direct inspection training or experience in the relevant inspection discipline.
OR
An HND/HNC in engineering with Ten years total work experience, including 6 years inspection experience.
All candidates must have the required certification related to his inspection discipline. You must have good vision (20/20 normal or corrected) and be in good physical condition. The candidate must be willing to work in remote area and conduct inspections at high elevations and in confined spaces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to be able to perform the following:
-Train personnel to develop technical ability and understanding of applicable codes, standards and NDT methods.
-Perform inspections according the particular qualifications or certifications.
-Write inspection reports, pre- and post- T&I reports, work sheets, non-compliance reports and make log book entries of on-site inspection findings.
Details: Position is offered on a 12 month renewable contract, the contract is single status. There are 3 leave periods of 2 weeks per year. You will also benefit from the religious holidays throughout the year. Location is not known until the interview. The reason being that Saudi Oil Company is a huge organisation, at interview the delegates will make the decision of where to place you based on your specific skills i.e. Where you are most needed.
Remuneration: The remuneration package includes a base salary paid to you monthly (in USD). You will also receive 60%-65% of your base salary figure as an allowance for your food, accommodation and transport. The salary is also tax free.
Salary is based on the individual candidate’s experience and qualifications, therefore salary is set at interview, I cannot give you a solid indication of salary but it is tax free and is not a disappointment. There are 3 leave periods per year, this is paid leave and your return flights home are paid for you.

Requirements: A Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in one of the following engineering disaplines; chemical, fire protection, civil, mechanical, electrical, occupational safety, science or chemistry. 3 - 10 years experience in the petrochemical industry.
