Teacher and Trainer Interviews

Congratulations on being selected for interview.  Once you have been selected for Interview you are 60% of the way there to getting hired!  We have recruited for these positions for over 20 years.  The information below is to prepare you and inform you of everything you need to know before the interview.

Where will the interview be held?

Delegates from Saudi Arabia travel to London and Houston to conduct interviews face to face with the candidate. 

CCL Recruitment arrange the interviews here in the UK, Interviews are 9 times out of 10 held in a London Hotel Conference Centre.  All candidates will need to travel to London to attend the interview.  We cannot hold interviews in other cities or towns in the UK.

You will be given a time and date to attend the interview.  We understand that travelling into London can at times be difficult to say the least and we are flexible with this.

What will the format of the day be?

When you arrive at the Hotel you will be greeted by Brian David Browne and Lloyd Browne.  You will be shown a video before you are introduced to the delegates for interview.  We will check all of your documentation and answer any last minute questions.

Maths/Accounting/Physics teachers should be prepared to undertake a numeracy exam on the day.

If you are successful an offer will be made may be made to you on the day of the interview so you may be asked to wait for a little while after the interview is concluded.  Some offers are made after the interview, so if you don’t get one on the day it may be sent to us after the interviews.

What questions will I be asked?

The interview will be based on your CV.  Trainers can expect to be asked technical questions in their individual fields of expertise.  Maths/Accounting/Physics teachers should come prepared to undertake a numeracy test.

Will my expenses be reimbursed?

Haka will reimburse you for all economy travel costs incurred to attend the interview.  Please note that we can only reimburse travel expenses within the UK/USA, candidates wishing to attend an interview who live overseas are welcome to but must cover the cost themselves.  For candidates within the UK hotel expenses will not be reimbursed unless it has been agreed prior to interview.

Please keep all of your original receipts and post them to us within 2 weeks of the interview.  If we do not receive your receipts within 2 weeks of the interview we cannot guarantee that we will be able to pay them.  Expenses are reimbursed by cheque.  If you wish the cheque to be sent to an address that is different to the one on your CV please give us as much notice as possible.

Please note that it is Haka who reimburses your expenses.  Once we receive the receipts and invoices from you we send an invoice for the collective amount to Haka.  Candidates should therefore expect over a 30 day wait for expenses to be repaid.

If I get a job offer and accept how long will it be until I will start my employment?

After interview Haka will undertake a background screening process similar to the UK CRB process, Haka.  Once Haka have recieved all the documents for this screening process they will prepare the visa documentation, then we can get you in for medical and apply for your visa.  Candidates should be prepared to wait 2-3 months for mobilisation after the interview.
