Interviews

Interviews can take a number of different formats depending on the client.

Formal Interviews

Formal interviews usually take place in London at a hotel conference centre. These interviews are arranged and organised by CCL Recruitment International. Each candidate has a time slot for their interview. When they arrive Brian Browne and/or Courtney Browne meet and greet the candidate, brief them and often show a video about the company. The candidate is then shown into the interview.

We ask that candidates come to the interview dressed formally in a suit, looking smart and professional, First impressions are very important to our clients.

Video Interviews

Video interviews are usually used between a candidate and CCL Recruitment International as a pre-interview but are occasionally used by clients. We use Oovoo or Skype for this. Should you not have these programs please see links below where you can download them for free.

These interviews are used to assess whether a candidate is suitable for a job opportunity and meet our client’s needs at a deeper level that simply reading a CV.

Telephone Interviews

Some of our clients prefer telephone interviews. The candidate is interviewed by the client over the telephone at a time and date arranged through CCL Recruitment International. The interview is based on the content of the candidate’s CV and is often quite informal.

Expenses

CCL Recruitment International will reimburse reasonable candidate expenses for attending an interview (economy only). Please retain all of your receipts and send the originals to us by post, we will then send you a cheque reimbursing you.

Please note that we can only pay expenses to candidates travelling within the UK or Ireland.  We cannot pay expenses for you to travel from Saudi Arabia or other nations to attend an interview in London.  The reasoning for this is that our clients will not pay travel expenses at this level.  We can sometimes arrange a local interview for you, please talk to us about it.

Please note that it is our client who we invoice for your expenses, candidates should expect to wait up to 30 days for their expenses to be reimbursed.
